Lovely little place, well kept rooms and nice restaurant / breakfast area. Good selection of food for breakfast which suited us. Quiet in the evening but that wasn’t an issue as its only a 5 minute walk to the Iron bridge (Khua Lek) with access over the Ping river into the centre of town. (There is small alley cut through!) It took us about 15/20 minutes casual walk to get into the old town but there is plenty on the way to stop off and see, drink / eat… The staff were really helpful and polite, helping us with taxi transfers and any other information we needed. We took a private taxi up to Chiang Rai (took 3 hours) There are free bicycles that we used to potter about on too! We only stayed 4 nights but the pool was an added bonus for the days we just wanted to relax. Doesn’t get a lot of direct sunshine due to the huge tree at the side of the property but again wasn’t important for our stay, as it was nice to just chill out for a few hours after a busy day. Rooms were perfect and clean, although the walls are thin (but that seems to be everywhere, not just here!) - highly recommend!

Think clean and comfortable and then add some luxury to it. Impressive touches like burning a mosquito coil outside the room at night and providing pocket sized hand sanitizer that came in super useful when exploring. Breakfast was great and they also served an afternoon tea that was inclusive - biscuits, fruit, sticky rice, that sort of thing. Lovely helpful staff. We arrived early and were happy to do some exploring until check in time but they insisted we have breakfast and had a room ready for us in no time. 100% recommend.

A small resort that can meet all our needs for a break - definitely not a luxurious resort and honestly the setting of the reception is particularly underwhelming - but it is all good given how much it costs. Small room but comfy, sufficient choice of food for breakfast, got afternoon treat, got a pool, free bike, walkable distance to night markets, no onsite spa but there are a few good massage parlours within walkable distance as well, friendly staff. You won't be disappointed for the money that you have to pay.

We are a family with 11 & 12 year old kids. Our main priorities tend to be: nice breakfast, pool, and a 2 bedroom room. Rimping Village delivers on all three. Breakfast is a great mix of Thai and Western dishes and changes a bit each day, pool is lovely and there’s plenty of space for families to spread out. The service is laid back but very attentive and hospitable. Staff could not have possibly been more helpful and were always helping us arrange rides around town, excursions, restaurants etc.

This was our second time here and luckily all was as we remembered. The afternoon snacks are a lovely touch which the kids love, the breakfast is the best I've ever had in Thailand in terms of variety and our room was a brilliant size. The beds are also the comfiest I've slept in in Thailand too. It's also a fantastic location for the night market but if you turn left out of the hotel instead of right you'll also find a little local market which has some tasty cheaper food!
